Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB Type Outdoor High-Voltage Isolation Switch, also renowned as the Isolation Disconnect Switch. This exceptional device is expertly crafted for use on high voltage power transmission and distribution lines of 10, 12, 15, and 24 kV. Designed for the precision operation of opening and closing single-phase or three-phase circuits with ease, it functions seamlessly under load-free conditions while maintaining voltage presence.
This innovative switch is adeptly engineered for single-phase applications within three-phase line systems, celebrated for its straightforward design, affordability, and user-friendly operation. With rated currents ranging from 200 to 1250 amps, these versatile switches are comprised of a robust base, resilient post insulators, efficient conductive parts, and a well-engineered mechanical section. A sophisticated gate knife structure ensures reliable circuit operations, featuring two conductive blades per phase and external compression springs for optimal contact pressure. Effortlessly operated with an insulated hook stick, this switch is equipped with a convenient self-locking device, ensuring dependable performance.
Working Environment:
Designed for altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters;
Thrives in ambient temperatures with a maximum of +40°C and a minimum of -30°C;
Capable of withstanding outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters per second;
Engineered for areas with seismic intensities up to 8 degrees, ensuring resilience in environments free from frequent severe vibrations.
Installation sites should be devoid of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other explosive or corrosive substances that could significantly affect the switch's insulation and conductivity performance.
Note:
WHEN USAGE CONDITIONS EXCEED THE ABOVE SPECIFICATIONS, USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DISCUSS ALTERNATIVES WITH THE COMPANY.
Installation, Use, and Adjustment
Pre-installation Work
- Begin by meticulously removing dust and dirt from all components, paying special attention to cleaning the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle.
- Ensure the ground screw's wiring surface is thoroughly scrubbed and spotless.
- Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to the rotating parts and contact areas to ensure smooth operation and longevity.
- Inspect the contact surface and expertly adjust the height of the compression spring to ensure contact pressure aligns with the standards in Table II.
- This switch is specifically designed for hoisting applications and is intended for use in conjunction with transformers on the line, maximizing efficiency and reliability.
- With a rated current ranging from 200-400 amperes, this switch typically utilizes three mounting holes, while models ranging from 600-1000A also employ three mounting holes for secure installation.
Conduct an annual inspection of the switch, focusing on the following components for optimal performance:
Diligently remove any dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the surface of insulating porcelain bottles to maintain functionality.
Examine all components for any damage, with particular attention to inspecting the insulating porcelain bottles for potential damage or cracks.
Ensure the conductive part's contact surface remains in excellent condition, confirming the integrity and efficiency of the switch.
