Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, an unparalleled isolation disconnect switch engineered for excellence in 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. Designed to effortlessly facilitate the opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits, it does so with precision and reliability, even when the voltage is present but without load. This switch is the epitome of safety and efficiency.

Crafted for single-phase applications within three-phase line systems, this switch stands out for its straightforward structure, remarkable cost-effectiveness, and user-friendly operation. It boasts an impressive range of available rated currents including 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps. The switch's robust construction consists of a base, post insulators, conductive parts, and an intricate mechanical section. Featuring a gate knife structure for seamless circuit operations, each phase's gate knife is comprised of dual conductive blades and external compression springs on both sides, facilitating precise adjustment of spring height to ensure optimal contact pressure. Operated with an insulated hook stick, it includes a self-locking device for secure operation.

Working Environment:

Designed for altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters, ensuring optimal performance at various elevations;

Capable of withstanding ambient temperatures ranging from a balmy +40°C to a chilly -30°C;

Engineered to endure outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters/second, maintaining stability in harsh conditions;

Built to withstand seismic intensities up to 8 degrees, ensuring durability where severe vibrations are uncommon.

Installation sites must remain free from harmful gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, and other explosive or corrosive mediums that could compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Meticulously eliminate dust and dirt from all components while gently wiping the insulating porcelain bottle's surface to ensure pristine cleanliness.
  2. Thoroughly clean the wiring surface of the ground screw to maintain optimum connectivity.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to all rotating parts and contact areas, safeguarding against wear and tear.
  4. Inspect the contact surface thoroughly and adjust the compression spring height to meet the precise specifications outlined in Table II.
  5. This switch is exclusively designed for hoisting use and is to be paired with the transformer on the line for seamless integration.
  6. With a rated current ranging from 200 to 400 amp hours, this switch typically utilizes three mounting holes, while the 600-1000A variants also employ three mounting holes for secure installation.

Regular annual inspections are advised to include the following checks:
Diligently remove any dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the surface of the insulating porcelain bottles for continued efficiency.

Examine all components for any signs of damage, with a particular focus on inspecting the insulating porcelain bottle for any cracks or fractures.

Ensure that the contact surface of the conductive part remains in excellent condition for uninterrupted performance.
