Product Description

The robust (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, often referred to as an isolation disconnect switch, is expertly crafted for seamless integration with 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution networks. This switch is meticulously engineered to efficiently open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits in situations where load-free but voltage-presence conditions are mandatory, ensuring uninterrupted performance in critical high-voltage environments.
Distinguished by its straightforward yet effective design, the switch is tailor-made for single-phase operation within three-phase line systems. It is renowned for its economic viability and operational simplicity. With a versatile range of rated currents from 200 to 1250 amps, this switch accommodates diverse power needs. It comprises a reliable base, sturdy post insulators, high-conductivity parts, and a precision mechanical section. Leveraging a gate knife structure for optimal circuit control, each phase's gate knife features twin conductive blades, fortified with external compression springs on both sides. Precision spring height adjustments are possible, ensuring requisite contact pressure for optimal gate knife operation. The switch's operation is facilitated by an insulated hook stick, which smoothly executes opening and closing actions, complemented by a built-in self-locking mechanism.
Working Environment:
Positioned at altitudes up to 1000 meters;
Operates within an ambient temperature range: maximum of +40°C and minimum of -30°C;
Built to withstand outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters/second;
Engineered for seismic intensities not exceeding 8 degrees; ideally positioned in areas devoid of frequent severe vibrations.
The installation environment must be free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other explosive or corrosive substances that could significantly impair the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
SHOULD THE ABOVE STANDARD OPERATING CONDITIONS BE EXCEEDED, USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO CONSULT WITH THE COMPANY FOR GUIDANCE.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation work
- Carefully eliminate dust and grime from all components, while delicately cleaning the insulating porcelain bottle's surface to ensure optimal performance.
- Thoroughly clean the wiring surface of the ground screw to enhance conductivity.
- Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline on all rotating parts and contact areas to ensure smooth operation and longevity.
- Inspect the contact surfaces and meticulously adjust the compression spring height to meet the pressure requirements outlined in Table II, ensuring seamless performance.
- This switch is uniquely designed for hoisting applications, functioning effectively alongside transformers in line setups.
- Engineered for rated currents between 200-400 amperes, typically utilizing three mounting holes, while configurations for 600-1000A also employ three mounting holes for robust installation.
Conduct an annual thorough inspection of the following switch components:
Remove any impurities from conductive elements, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottles to maintain optimal function.
Diligently inspect all components for damage, with a focus on identifying any cracks or wear in the insulating porcelain bottle.
Verify the integrity of the contact surfaces in the conductive components to ensure reliable energy transmission.
